Experimental Game Landscapes and Loneliness

For a very long time I've been deeply fascinated by very simple basiclly constructed indie games, the more experimental the better. Especially ones made out of blocky 3D geometry. The ones that stick to mind the most usually involve a flat plane of the world, a lonely house, a giant sun in the distance. There's something inherently scary and uncomfortable about these spaces to me, and Ive wanted to create a series of paintings that embody this feeling. Acting as both a reflection on how digital worlds are made on a basic visual level, and an exploration of what those spaces might mean to a player often very isolated in a space that feels so large but so cold and desolate at the same time.
